$5 Million Jury Verdict
Anastopoulo Law Firm’s $5 Million Jury Verdict For Broken Leg in Car Crash Upheld By SC Appellate Court.
Charleston, S.C. — The South Carolina Court of Appeals has upheld a $5 million jury verdict, holding the trial court did not abuse its discretion in denying the Defendant’s motions for a new trial. Daisy Frederick is represented by Poulin | Willey | Anastopoulo (D.B.A. Anastopoulo Law Firm), whose litigation headquarters are in Charleston, South Carolina.
The Court of Appeals upheld the jury award of $5 million as not unreasonable given the evidence of damages presented at the trial court level. The plaintiff, 27 year old Daisy Frederick, of Cheraw, SC suffered a broken leg, and laceration wounds on her arm after a pickup truck crossed the median hitting her head-on.
